LIFE'S JOURNEY

Sometimes we complaine about our lives. We are never satisfied with it. If we don't have everything we want, if we don't go places we want..... Do we ever think about our grand parents' lives... About their lives and times..

Today's post is dedicated to a man who is 92 years old that's been through second world war. He was kept as a prisoner in Germany for 4 years during the war , didn't see his home for 6 years. He is old school gentleman. Addresses everybody with yes sir, very polite and respectful, he shaves every morning at 4 AM and dresses nicely every day. His mind is very sharp and would remember all songs he learned as a school boy. He would always say : I dont remember what I had for lunch yesteray but I sure remember everything what happpened 70 years ago. Sometimes he reminds me of Paul Newman.
Three months ago he lost his beloved wife of 65 years and was there by her side till they took her away from him.
I hope he will stay in our family for a very very long time.

DIFFERENT CRAFTING

This morning I went to a local store and saw an advertisement for a movie Transformers 3. Last year in July I spent 2 weeks in Chicago and had opportunity to be on a set of shooting a movie. I decided I will share some photos with you. Maybe after watching a movie this whole scene will look familiar to you.


Danes zjutraj sem odšla po nakupih in zagledam reklamo za film Transformerji 3. Spomini so mi poleteli nazaj v Chicago, kjer sem lani v Chicagu doživela snemanje enega izmed prizorov v tem filmu. Objavljam nekaj fotografij iz samega snemanja. Mogoče vam bo tale scena zgledala zelo poznana , ko si boste pogledali film.

In love with LaBlanche stamps

I just love beautiful vintage Lablanche stamps. Both of these cards are made with Lablanche stamps.
On the first card I used beautiful Lady dreaming and Seerose stamps. It is a very feminine card. On the other card I used a stamp that is perfect for man's cards. It is so hard to get nice stamps for man's cards. This one is perfect. What gives that touch to a card is the paper. One of my favorite ... K&Company papers.


Obožujem vintage štampiljke. In Lablanche štampiljke so mi trenutno ene najljubših. Obe voščilnisi sta narejeni z uporabo teh štampiljk. Na prvi voščilnici sem uporabila Lady dreaming in okvir Seerose štampiljki. Štampiljka uporabljena na drugi voščilnici je perfektna za voščilnico, namenjeno moškemu spolu. Vedno , ko se srečamo z izdelavo moških voščilnic naletimo na težavo... katero štampiljko izbrati. Obe štampilki si lahko ogledate na spletni strani www.memories.si . Ne bi bilo pa voščilnice brez prelepih papirjev. Na obeh sem uporabila K&Company papirje... meni med ljubšimi. In seveda ne gre brez Martha stewart štanc in Spellbinders šablon.
