Ballroom Canvas

 Welcome to my blog.
As I promised few days ago I am sharing this mixed media project with you. It is inspired by a ballroom in a royal palace in Oslo.
Two weeks ago I was in a royal palace. There was so much inspiration in that palace. When I entered the ballroom first thing I noticed was the ceiling shaped in lots of squares. Each square is devided by small ornaments and in the middle there are big chandeliers. And of course pillars everywhere. Everything in white, blue, and gold.
There I decided I will make a memory to that beautiful room. And here it is. A ballroom on canvas. It was so easy to make it with all those beautiful Prima embellishments. Without them this wouldn't be possible. The beautiful vintage lady is also from Prima collection, Everyday vintage.
Hope you like it.

See you next time.

Couture Mini Album

Norway has been such an inspiration for me. Ideas keep coming and I can not stop crafting. Pretty things all around me. That*s why I created this mini album. Norway may not be a couture in a sense this album is represented but it sure has lots of other couture here.... let*s call it a nature couture. For this album I used  beautiful Graphic 45 papers. In the making is another Norwegian inspiration. It is not a mini but mixed media art, using lot*s of Prima embellishments, sprays, and pains. I will share it with you in a couple of days.

Christmas In July In Norway

Who doesn*t like Christmas. I sure do. It is so much fun to see Christmas decorations and Santas in July. It just warms up your heart. How I love the magic of Christmas. But when I saw this beautiful store in Oslo it felt different. Those Santas and elves. They really gave me that Nordic feel of Christmas. Real country Santa.  With all those clothes and beautiful red cheeks. Just amazing. And I may not forget his wife. There are as many figurines of her than those of Santa. Somehow we just forget about Mrs Claus who is as important as Santa. What is a man without a woman... Hahaha... Without here help he wouldn*t be doing his job the way he is.

Elvis On Canvas

All I am posting are memory books. It looks it is all I do. Oh NO. Mixed media art is my big passion. I do it on canvas, wood and glass. This project is made on canvas and I used different mediums, distress inks, paints, sprays. I love this color combination. It reminds of somethin very old, long forgotten somewhere in the attic. And Elvis photograph was just asking to be brought to life.

Happy 4th of July

I keep America in my heart for it was my home for 8 years. It gave me so much. I wouldn*t be a person I am today without those beautiful years. I learned how to depend on myself, how to fight for my dreams, how to become a stronger person but most of all I fell in love with paper crafting which became my passion and my everyday work. So I have the best job in the world. I do what I love to do. My ways were going in other direction before I discovered scrapbooking. And thanks to America I don*t do a job that I would hate but love with all my heart.  America truly is  a land of opportunities, you just need to follow your dreams and have goals in your life and everything is possible in America. God bless you. Happy independence day.
